LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!
During yoga classes your instructor will tell you do move a certain way but that doesn't mean that you need to. Sometimes you just have days where your body and your mind just aren't on the same page. This is where people (all of us at some point!) let our ego get in the way. Your ego is that little voice telling you to push even further in a pose even though you are in so much pain! I could do this pose yesterday!! Why?! This is where you need to listen to your body and accept it that you can't move that way for today. Otherwise if you keep pushing and fueling your ego you normally end up with an injury! Not long ago I did exactly that with my neck! So modify, modify and modify for YOUR OWN BODY!!! If your unsure how to modify then always ask your teacher! With love & light Sophie
